Climate Change and the Electricity Industry

IPPSA kicks off a climate change discussion with the results of its commissioned study on the Alberta power market's emissions intensity. The study also estimates the cost of mitigation regimes going forward. We will see how the link between the market and intensity has evolved over time, and what emissions policy objectives mean to the market and to consumers going forward.
