Conference Theme
The 2012 Conference theme – Around the Horn: lessons learned from other markets – will enable delegates to learn about the experiences of other markets, as they pertain to issues faced in Alberta. Key topics for consideration will include seams integration, transmission cost control and climate change, among others. The popular debate format will be brought back for Tuesday to focus on Alberta issues, along with an ‘open mic’ session featuring audience-drafted polling questions and discussion.

Scholarship
In lieu of speaker gifts IPPSA will provide a scholarship for a student to attend the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the University of Calgary.
